School Holiday Sewing Adventure!  Kids Can Sew 2!  

This sewing adventure is a mini one day version of our Kids Can Sew 2 course.  Our Kids Can Sew sewing classes are specially designed for children and are suitable for both girls and boys aged from 7 years.   Classes will inspire creativity and build life-long basic skills all while having fun at the same time!

Totally suitable for both girls and boys who have completed Kids Can Sew or a Kids Can Sew 1 Adventure.

Learning Lessons:

• Sewing machine safety
• How to use a sewing machine revisited
• Learn how to sew shorts
  
• Learn how to sew a dashie dog
  

What's Included:

• Professional teaching in a fun and friendly environment
• Brother electronic sewing machines provided for use for each student
• 6 hours of sewing tuition in a group of students
• Cushion Insert
  
• Use of Studio equipment including scissors, pins, thread etc.

You will need to bring/supply:

• Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea
• 1m of cotton fabric for shorts and 50cm of cotton fabric for the dashie dog
  

Skill level required:

Children must have completed a Kids Can Sew class with us or have done basic sewing with another group. They should have mastered the basics and know how to thread, use a sewing machine and do basic stitches. Children should be aged 7 or over.
