Our Kids Can Sew classes are specially designed for children and are suitable for both girls and boys aged from 7 years.   Classes will inspire creativity and build life-long basic skills all while having fun at the same time! Learn to sew!

Our Step 1 Course creates:

• Safety, machine basics, stitching lessons 
• Stitching drills and creating a Slinky Stitchy Snake 
• Making their own apron with pocket
• Making their own drawstring library bag 
• Making their own pillow case

What’s included:

• Professional teaching in a fun and friendly environment
  
• Brother sewing machines are provided for use for each student
• 10 hours of sewing tuition in a group of up to 8 students
• Weekly class projects with step by step instructions
• Use of Studio equipment including sewing machine, scissors, pins, thread 

You will need to bring/supply:

Materials such as fabric and elastic for the sewing  projects, the details of these will be provided in your information pack. The pack will be emailed approx one week prior to the course starting. Cost of required materials will be under $30 and we encourage the children to reuse and up-cycle fabrics for their projects.
