Kids Can Sew sewing classes are specially designed for children and are suitable for both girls and boys aged from 7 years.   Classes will inspire creativity and build life-long basic skills all while having fun at the same time! Come and join us and learn to sew!

Step 2 continues on from our Kids Can Sew Step 1 course and continues to help them grow, learn, prefect their skills and create new fun and age appropriate projects.

Our Step 2 Kids create:

• Letter Applique Cushion Cover
• Doggy Softie Toy 
• Zipper Pouch
• Tote Bag
• Simple shorts 

What’s included:

• Professional teaching in a fun and friendly environment
• Basic sewing machines provided for use for each student
• 10 hours of sewing tuition in a group of up to 8 students
• Weekly class projects with step by step instructions
• Use of Studio equipment including sewing machine, scissors, pins, thread etc.

You will need to bring/supply:

• Materials such as fabric and elastic for the sewing  projects the details of these will be provided in your information pack on booking. Cost of required materials will be under $30 and we encourage the children to reuse and up-cycle fabrics for their projects.

• I know a sewing machine well
• I can thread and know all about my bobbins
• I have been practicing sewing
• I have recently completed Kids Can Sew 1 or a Kids Can Sew Adventure
