Our new Teen Basics Courses are developed especially for 11 to 16 year old's who want to learn to sew and start their sewing adventure.

The course is designed to teach the basics of using a sewing machine in detail including threading, tension, stitches. Students will also learn to read basic patterns, develop cutting skills and go on to create and make products that suit their age and growing skill levels.

Although this course is marketed with girls in mind is is easily adapted to suit teen boys who are very welcome in our classes.

What is included:

• Tutorials for each class
  
• Professional teaching in a fun and friendly environment
• Basic sewing machines provided for use for each student
• 9 hours of sewing tuition in a group of up to 6 students
• Weekly class projects with step by step learning lessons
• Use of Studio equipment including Brother sewing machines

You will need to bring/supply:

• Fabrics for the sewing  projects the details of these will be provided in your information pack on booking. Cost of required materials will be approx $60.
